wow, an impressive post. difficult to digest it all at once. the first thing to peak my interest was sean watkins. he's sort of a cross between nickel creek and ben fold's in sound. sorry to use the name ben fold's on your blog brother.

i dont' love wes anderson. i've seen rushmore and royal tennenbaums and part of life aquatic (fell asleep if you remember that brother.)

i always feel like maybe there's something wrong with my sense of humor and that's why i don't laugh harder (or why my heart isn't in it when i do laugh...

i'll just keep plowing through and commenting on my own until Amy finished with the baby shower in the other room.

so nickel creek is taking a break huh? i have stevie to thank for introducing them to me. i have great memories linked to their music of road trips with amy, stevie and others to moab. their music puts me at ease and inspires.

    thank for them brother.

sorry to hear they're taking a break.

    i like the following lyrics:

when i wake up in the morning
and my alarm gets out of moaning
and i don't think that'll make it on time.
so a run and grab my books
and i give myself a look
make to the corner just in time to see the bus fly by...

    it's all right
    (cause i'm saved by the...)
    it's all right
    (cause i'm saved by the...)
it's all right cause i'm saved by the bell...!

    (second verse anybody?)
    something about a test
    and i know i'm in a mess
cause my dog ate all my homework last time.
    slouching in my chair
so she won't know that i'm there,
if i can turn it in tomorrow
    it'll be alright.

    (chorus)

one of my all time favorites. brilliantly scripted.

stephen: dead? no. just dutifully clicking my way through your links. i think i have like 3 left.

i'm examining your self-portrait very closely. you like cool stuff. maybe someday you'll add sushi to the list....or even disneyland....?

i like the music reviews on rolling stone. they always use cool words to describe the sound of the music. many groups sound better in their reviews than they do in real life. however, i thought guys just ordered rolling stone to look at the views on the cover...

Stephen... I spent way too much time going through your links last night, and refuse to do it tonight... I've got to do finances, after all! Why you got to like so many people I've never heard of??

Peter... You actually took the time to type the lyrics?? Please say you copied and pasted.

    amy.
    time is relative.
    lyrics are eternal.
so btwn those two truths, it wasn't that bigga deal.
