tiny masters of today

hi. hi. hi.

i don't like to do this (give a report of a concert i attended), but this time i just can't resist. i mean, the yeah yeah yeahs were great and everything when i saw them at webster hall on tuesday. i love them, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. yes, it was great, and yes karen o did scream into the mic while she was pretending to eat it.

but i want to talk about the tiny masters of today. i could write a bunch of stuff and pretend to be witty and cool. i could also pretend i know so much about rock and roll and the ny music scene, but i really don't. so just check out this little band--they aren't the most talented in the world, but they were great and everybody loved them at the show. the kids twelve and the girl is 10. and they are punk rock in its most innocent (is that possible?) and pure form.

it's like a little jack and meg.

i enjoyed their stickin it to the man track. it's ironic the younger of the two can't consent to emergency care in most states without a parent or guardian...

Stephen said...

true....but she definitely can stick it to the man. wait...why is that ironic?

i like the pink.
i can't decide if i'm more jealous or envious that you got to rock the yeah yeah yeahs...

it's hard to stick it to the man if when you get hurt while sticking it you can't consent to medical care.

are their parent's their managers? whose idea do you think it was to start a band...?

After listening a little, the music doesn't seem that "innocent" to me. I wonder who's idea it was to write those lyrics?

oh, amy, it is. another song was about how they think bush is the worst president this country has ever seen. i think it was called, 'your the worst president for shee' i think shee is young people's talk for 'sure'.

let's all remember that you really just need to get over yourself, hayseed. you're a bluegrasser. not an angry-preteen-rock-and-roller.

that's what's important here.

as always, james speaks the truth. he is wise beyond his years....

Stephen, I like the pink. I think it shows a lot of confidence and sensitivity on your part. I also miss your guts. Marc has cried himself to sleep multiple times in the past month. He always mumbles "Steve and Pete..." before he finally dozes off. It is really sad.

he says Both peter and my name?

so...when you going to have that baby, anyway?

di's back in town so lets get together this weekend...

Kaedi said...

Not totally sure, but the doctor yesterday said she thought I'd have the baby early. That would be anytime in the next 3-4 weeks. Yikes. LETS PLAY THIS WEEKEND! I want to make sure you and Di have enough play time before you become our fulltime nannies.
