movies galore

today I went to this movie, and followed that up with a trip to this gallery. this is my report, and i'm sticking to it. sometimes i realize that i enjoy living in this city and this is one of those times. for now, please take a look at this deer head:

And how was the movie?? Good enough for a follow-up field trip, it appears. It does look like a fun day...

Have you seen rescue dawn brother? Mel, Aaron and I watched it the other night. It was pretty good. Mel fell asleep, and both Aaron and I cried at the end.

It's a true story of a POW in Vietnam. It's directed by Werner Herzog (famous for his documentary work). The music and cinematography are incredible. I think you'd like it. It's received great reviews.

jonny: i saw it. it was good. you should watch fitzcarraldo, a herzog masterpiece. it takes place in iquitos, peru, a place i visited two years ago. please watch it quickly, then give me your report. and give aaron a kiss for me.

stephen, i enjoyed looking at those deer heads more than i'm willing to admit. i might look at them some more right now, then come back and look at them later, too.
