this is art. this is art. and this is art.
why, then, can this not be art? or this? or this? or, for what it's worth, bears! or robots...

ohh my gosh!! why are you so freaking hilarious?? loved it.
well done stephen.
I think I like the mullet guy the best.
That was genius.
the mullet guy was spooony, i kind of think. let me say one thing. Alien disc jockeys play underground lite parties on my mind: nor for the subvervise implant or introvert.
i've been pondering your question. my dedcided answer isthe following: no one likes to look at 'art' that makes them feel uncomfortable (unless of course it's a naked person). And, frankly, when I look at the mullet man i feel uncomfortable. -libby
libby: yes that's interesting. i think the mullet man also makes me feel uncomfortable, but only because he is realizing all my inner desires and dreams...
does your comment mean that you like naked-people art?
i guess this means that your last comment was art as it makes me uncomfortable.
paul: what can i say? i'm an artist....
Your life may benefit from reading the book How To Survive a Robot Uprising : Tips on Defending Yourself Against the Coming Rebellion by Daniel H. Wilson.
Libby wants me to explain how I am connected to you but I'm not so I won't.
what the heck are you talking about? anyway....you're rather hot. we should go out sometime.but you'll have to fly to BYU to see me.
paul... speaking of being uncomfortable, check our blog.
Stephen... stop being so brokeback, mullet men are not art. :)
jonny and mel: i'm not quite sure what you mean by "stop being so brokeback." do you mean 'stop being so award winning?' or do you mean 'stop being so ground breaking?' or do you mean 'stop being so artistic?'
the mullet man is art. and i will stand by that.
anonymous: i don't know if you're the same person, but please refrain from commenting if you don't leave a name. and, by the way, i'm coming to utah tomorrow.
jonny and mel. i check your blog nearly everyday and there hasn't been anything new on there for about a month.
Dearest Paul, We have a new post as of yesterday.
hmmm, interesting
skinny: i didn't realize you were allowed to now visit this web log. you know i'll be home this week and we better be doing things.
paul: when will you make a web log? i'm anxiously awaiting.
Come find me in Utah. I will let you take me out and spend money on me. I hear you are hot, plus Libby has shown me many pictures.
anonymous: i would rather die than spend money on you. but, if you're hot and you put out then lets get together. (this is what kind of person your comments make me think you are)
anonymous: now you know the real stephen, a grade A jerkface. he might be somewhat attractive, but first off he's a teacher so he ain't got no money to spend on you. second off, he's really not that good of a kisser (at least that's what i've heard).
skinny_
about the kissing, r clark says otherwise. i'm not sure who to believe...
this discussion ends now...
no peter, don't stop the discussion now, please, tell us more.
i guess stevey being that adamant about closing the lid on r clark might give some weight to the veracity and legitimacy of the claim that i came across. stevey_ if you can't share stories with your family and friends, who care you share them with??
speaking of stories petey. tell us more about the colbert report.
you 2 timer!! i have been waiting all month for you to come home and take me out since libby told me about the twins. who is this r clark??
our date is off. unless of course you wanna call me: 801-917-0813 and we can talk it through. but don't you dare play with my heart.
peter: you stop talking.
jonny: i tell you this. r clark is in fact not a girl. he is my room mate. a little too brokeback for you?
skinny: hello.
wierd people im a samed of you pepole
lafe: i don't blame you. you should be ashamed of almost all of these people on this web log.
ry@n: please leave me and this web log alone.
why haven't you called me yet?? spanish fork is not far from provo. don't make me wait too long to agree with ry@n. libby told me you were special.
this is a different anonymous, and i'd have to agree with r clark on this one. stephen is a good kisser, in fact i was pleasantly suprised. sadly, he broke my heart and i will be forever "bitter". for the other anonymous, don't waste your time...he'll only do the same to you.
at least he didn't break you back...
you=your
also, for bitter or worse all the anonymous comments hold as much weight as a michael moore movie...or for that matter a half-hour of jon stewart
no more anonymous posters, please. if you are real and you want to leave a real comment, then please register your name. otherwise, you will die.
paul_
if you're gonna come at stewie, you better have legitimate ammunition. don't make me get all o'reilly on you only for you to admit that you don't really watch the show...
stevie_
since when do you hate anonies? but then again this is you webb-site, you can do whatever you want. i say you call the girl, freak she left you her number and me and r clark got your business taken care of back here in your absences.
memorable/influential indie film makers:
mikey moore vs. dutcher
really which of the above make a bigger inpact on his audience?
petey: if you mean who is more inflammatory and uses untruths to get lots of people riled up...moore.
if you mean who tells powerful truths and moves his audiences in the spirit of truth--even if his audiences are smaller? dutcher
i've seen stewart's show twice. very funny. intellectually dishonest.
i saw stewart on leno. very self-assured in his political leanings. leanings that he bares through his jokes--funny jokes.
i shouldn't say intellectually dishonest. i should say intellectually simplistic.
paul_
well spoken. i agree with you on your points about the directors. but i would be hesitant to use biblical vernacular like "spirit of truth" for anything to is made with the intent for bringing in money. even if that money is just to fund a project about joseph smith. righteous/religious emotional manipulation is almost as dangerous as fanatical emotional manipulation (moore-ish fact, if you can even call them facts, twisting) in my book. i am more leary of dutcher's "truth" than i am of colbert's "truthiness."
aside from the temple, vocal performances, family experiences, missionary discussions and prayer (and a few others i forgot ie. dancing) some of my more powerful spiritual experiences have come in the movie theater or in a live theater. it is a powerful medium.
emotional manipulation can masquerade as inspiration, but shouldn't discount the potential of the medium.
i figured you enjoy stewert and colbert with a grain of salt, however i fear many don't--thus the danger.
yes the medium is potent, i completely agree. it's not the medium i fear, its those who will highjack that very potency for their own agendas; fanaticism (even religious and patriotic) is just lethal as cynicism (moore and others), being what you might call emotionally dishonest.
hannah stole the idea for her comment from me.
nice try buddy. if i know one thing about you its idea-stealin!! and i will not back down from that. i can't believe you're trying to heist your little cheerleading sister.
you calling me out on this is the farthest thing from original that has ever happened.
i can allow my ever-pressing need to be original to subside to ensure that you cannot pass off someone else's ideas as your own. un-original as it may be. thief!
let me be the first to say...FIFTY comments!
thank you very much, pablo. thats what i like to see.
